attended a meet and greet show at Westfield Century City on Saturday,

The trio kicked off the event by attending a meet and greet show at
Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 3.
More than 1000 "Hunger Games" fans showed up at the mall over the
weekend to get a chance to meet the stars who play Katniss Everdeen,
Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne in person. Most of them had been
camping out around the location since Friday to be the first in line
when the show opened.
As they arrived to the event, Lawrence, Hutcherson and Hemsworth were
seen posing for photographers and greeting the swarming fans. The three
were all smiles as they took pictures and signed posters for those fans
before beginning a small Q&A session to answer some questions about
the much awaited movie.
After kicking off the 8-city U.S. tour in L.A., each of the trio will
part their ways to attend similar events in some other cities. Hemsworth
will next stop by Atlanta on Tuesday, while Hutcherson will attend the
Chicago show on Wednesday. On the other hand, Lawrence will be in Miami
on Thursday. The tour ends on March 10 in Seattle, where the three
reunite for a last trip to Brookstone before the movie opens wide on
March 23.
